All the stars burning out at once? Some are not burning but already big chunky rocks. All the stars burning out is not an event I have to worry about, I will be long gone, as will you.

Contemplating what it might "mean" when the stars burn out -- a fantastical idea with no practical application -- is easy. It means nothing beyond the stars going out. So put your hope in heavens and kings all you like if it makes you feel better, but contemplate this:

Maybe death is just death. No more. Simply lights out. The world ends for each of us when we die, buttercup.
